22. I’d like to study part-time

Our BSc in Acupuncture is designated as a part-time course by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), so eligible students can apply for a part-time tuition fee loan. Part-time students are taught alongside their full-time colleagues. However, they study one or two of the modules in an academic year instead of the full complement of modules making up that year of study. Using this model, part-time students can take complete their course in 4 – 6 years. Depending on how many years a part time students chooses to study, there may be a need to undertake a few extra days in clinic. Part time students will be part of a succession of cohorts as they will join the weekday or weekend cohort that is appropriate for their year of study. They will also pay the modules fees appropriate to the cohort with which the student will be studying.
